WARRENSBURG, Mo. – P1 Group, Inc. is proud to announce it has won a mechanical project at Western Missouri Medical Center in Warrensburg, Mo. The project includes a 100,500-square-foot addition and a 32,000-square-foot remodel, which will increase the existing facility space by approximately 80 percent.
P1 will perform all the HVAC work, plumbing and medical gas piping, including adding a new chiller plant that will provide 1,500 tons of cooling to the entire hospital. This will involve a complete turnover of the hospital’s existing chilled water plant to the new plant.
This project was awarded in April 2010 and is expected to be completed by October 2012.
Scope of Work
- (9) air handling units and (3) rooftop units for a total of 181,480 CFM
- (2) new chillers and relocating (1) existing chiller
- (3) new cooling towers
- (2) new heat exchanger hot water pumping skids with steam pressure reducing stations
- (259) VAV boxes
- Temporary cooling to support the facility while tying in the new plant
- Relocating the hospital oxygen tank and providing a temporary tank during the relocation
- (509) plumbing fixtures
- Roof drain piping
- (384) medical gas outlets
- Toilet Accessories
